About Us

Our Mission

KTH Sport Foundation has been inspiring students and staff since 1985, making fitness, wellness, and sports accessible to everyone at KTH.

We started with KTH-Hallen and have grown into a vibrant community, always true to our mission.

During winter, all group trainings take place at KTH-Hallen.

Outdoor

AlbaNova Outdoor Gym Viktoria

Train outdoors and boost your mood! The gym is run by the Foundation and owned by Akademiska Hus. It is open for all KTH students, staff, and KTHIF members. During the warmer months, the Foundation frequently hosts free outdoor sessions here, including calisthenics, kettlebell workouts, and sometimes yoga.

KTH-Hallen

KTH-Hallen is a comprehensive sports facility owned by the Foundation and operated by Nordic Wellness. The Foundation hosts free group training for KTH students during specifically scheduled sessions. For general gym access outside these classes, a Nordic Wellness membership is required.

Group Trainings

Free group activities for students at KTH-Hallen. We continuously develop and expand training opportunities by inviting experienced instructors and specialists – both for regular and temporary classes. Join in and stay active!

Calisthenics

Calisthenics is a form of bodyweight training that focuses on building strength, flexibility, and control through exercises such as pull-ups, push-ups, dips, and dynamic movements. At KTH Calisthenics, we welcome everyone—whether you're just starting your fitness journey or are already advanced and looking to push your limits. The sessions are free for all KTH students, thanks to the generous support of the KTH Sports Foundation. We train together in a friendly and motivating environment, offering guidance, progressions, and challenges for all skill levels. So no matter where you're starting from, feel free to join us and discover what your body is capable of!

Aerial Hammock

Build strength, flexibility, and creativity with aerial hammock fitness. Learn tricks, flows, and conditioning exercises in the air. No experience needed. See our Instagram for inspiration and schedules.

Powerlifting

Train for strength with sessions focused on squats, bench press, and deadlift challenges. Suitable for all levels. More info on Instagram.

Zumba

Zumba brings fun, energetic dance sessions to KTH-Hallen. A full-body workout that feels like a party — no dance experience needed. Follow our Instagram for updates.

Body Pump

Body Pump is a full-body barbell workout designed to build strength and endurance. Join energetic group sessions at KTH-Hallen with motivating music and guided exercises. Follow our Instagram for updates.

Yoga

Breathwork with Brizzy

Free for KTH students
